Who Am I?
I'm Lisa (originally from Scotland)...living like a local in Castelldefels 10 years! Mum to 2 teens, 2 dogs, and wife to Neil.
Not long after arriving in Castelldefels, I took charge of a tiny Facebook group with the sole purpose of meeting new friends. That group now has nearly 9,000 members and over the years I’ve organised many meetups and events for international residents, helping to connect thousands of people who live here.
This hub exists because I spend a lot of time answering the same questions - not just from people thinking about moving, but from those already living in Castelldefels who want reliable, practical information in ONE place (& in ENGLISH). It’s built from real life experiences and from a decade of navigating the systems, the culture, and the everyday realities you won’t find in a quick online search.
My aim is simple: to make life in Castelldefels feel easier, clearer, and more navigable - whether you’re new or you’ve been here for years.
